RECIPE: Mixed Lentil Falafel

These delicious patties go well with pita, salads, grains and more!


INGREDIENTS


  • 1.5 cups SaveAGram mixed lentils (naurangi)

  • Coriander leaves small bunch

  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds (powdered)

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • Chopped parsley (optional)


METHOD


  1. Soak mixed dal overnight or for 5 to 6 hours till soft.

  2. Grind with coriander leaves, cumin, onion, garlic and a pinch of salt

  3. Add parsley (optional)

  4. Roll into balls and deep fry
