Wayanad: In the Area

Koilery is a small village near which we have identified a Nambiar's farm house which is tucked away in the midst of fields and mountains and hidden away from the main road. The home is a hundred years old and was where Nambiar grew up. The Kabini river is a stone's throw from here

Mananthavady: A small town in the heart of Wayanad, on the banks of the Manathavady river. It is the closest town to the famous Kuruva island. The famous Valliyurkavu is near the town and the temples of Tirunelly and Thrissleri are also an hour's drive

Kuruva Island: This is an island formed by the Kabini encircling a land mass in its midst with seven rivulets running through the island. It is a natural wonder with plants and trees, including large amounts of bamboo forests.

Kalpetta and Sultanbathery: Kalpetta is the capital town of the district and is surrounded by coffee and tea plantations. Sultanbathery is where Tipu Sultan kept his battery, when he was on his invasion run from Mysore, and earlier was called Ganapathivattom due to a Ganesha temple there.
