    Green cardamom is very hard to get organic since its easily eaten by insects when in the fruit stage and is therefore always sprayed with pesticides. Its a small fruit and the pesticides do not leave once dried.
    We have sourced a limited amount from a farmer in Wayanad who believes in organic produce.

      Cardamom has been used in cooking of curries, sweets and in tea for centuries in the Indian subcontinent and the middle east. It could almost be said to be a critical ingredient in garam masalas. It is said to contain anti-bacterial properties.
