    Our finger millet called Mandua is from Uttarakhand and grown in chemical free villages as part of their tradition which we are trying to help them preserve. It makes delicious breads and is gluten free. 

    • Farmer's Note

      Our Mandva, a variety of Finger millet is grown on the hills of Uttarakhand. It’s harvested just before peak winter and is a great gluten free flour to use for flat breads or rotis. It is recommended to mix a little flax seed or urad powder for best results. Best stored in the refrigerator.

    • Nutritional Info

      Mandva is a gluten-free millet that is said to have 10x the calcium content as compared to wheat. Its high protein, minerals and fibre content helps deal with diabetes and aids weight loss.
