Bay leaves have been used in cooking in many parts of the world. It is a natural flavour enhancer and it used more for meats than in vegetables.

    These Bay leaves are from Kalimpong district in the mountains in West Bengal in India. It is grown and collected by Nima Doma and her neighours. We have also asked Nim to pack it herself and sent all the packing material she needs for this.
